Science journal "Izvestiya Vuzov. Severo-Kavkazskii Region. Social Science" was founded in 1972 by Yuri Andreyevich Zhdanov.
The journal is set for teaching staff, graduate students, doctoral students and students of higher educational institutions, scientific workers of research institutes. The journal publishes articles containing the results of research in the following areas: philosophy, history, economics.
The journal "Izvestiya Vuzov. Severo-Kavkazskii Region. Social Science" is included in the list of leading reviewed scientific journals and publications, where basic scientific results of the thesis on scientific doctoral and candidate degree competition can be published.Published articles are indexed in Russian and international electronic libraries and scientometric databases: RSCI, RUKONT, "Cyberleninka", EBS "University library online", Ulrich, EBSCO, Chemical Abstracts.
